Introduction Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Program

The Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Program in Pakistan was launched in 2013 and aimed to train and equip the youth with skills that are in demand in the job market, with a focus on areas such as information technology, entrepreneurship, agriculture, tourism, and other vocational fields. The program provided training through various training institutes, technical and vocational centers, and public and private sector organizations across Pakistan.

The Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Program in Pakistan aimed to address the challenge of unemployment among the youth by enhancing their employability through skill development, fostering a culture of entrepreneurship, and promoting economic growth in the country. The program provided stipends, free training, and job placement opportunities to eligible candidates, with a focus on underprivileged youth, women, and rural areas.
