Web Developer

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain highly optimized and customizable websites using WordPress (custom post types, templates, widgets, Elementor page builder, etc.) 

• Build websites on Webflow or React (or other modern frameworks) as needed for future projects 

• Write clean, valid, and maintainable code using modern standards (PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) 

• Create, update, and maintain themes, plugins, and core code on sites while ensuring security and performance 

• Add or update content, images, or functionality on websites, including implementing image and media optimization strategies (e.g., compression, lazy loading, responsive images, and CDN integration) 

• Ensure high performance, responsive design, and cross-browser/platform compatibility 

• Convert layouts and wireframes into functional, dynamic web pages 

• Manage and improve SEO (Search Engine Optimization), perform keyword analysis, and implement content recommendations 

• Handle hosting, DNS setup, SSL certificates, and website deployment tasks 

• Develop and maintain WooCommerce stores, including custom e-commerce features, payment integrations, and inventory management 

• Develop WordPress and WooCommerce APIs for integration with external services, such as mobile apps, third-party tools, or custom backends 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant web development experience 

• Strong hands-on skills in WordPress and PHP development 

• Working knowledge of Webflow or willingness to learn and implement 

• Experience with React.js or other modern front-end frameworks (preferred) 

• Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) 

• Experience building responsive, user-friendly websites and interfaces 

• Ability to troubleshoot CSS/JavaScript issues and maintain consistent style/functionality across devices and browsers 

• Familiarity with hosting environments, domain/DNS setup, and website performance optimization 

• Proficiency with Elementor for WordPress site building and customization 

• Experience in image and media optimization strategies to enhance site speed and user experience 

• Hands-on experience with WooCommerce store development and e-commerce best practices 

• Knowledge of developing WordPress and WooCommerce APIs for external integrations, such as mobile apps
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
